Feeding yourself with Permaculture — practicing regenerative living

“I believe we may have developed the fastest, simplest and most efficient method of building soil carbon (and therefore fertility) out of any food production system on the planet.  This has implications on a global scale.” Nick van Stekelenburg

In the Chicken Panacea Workshop, Nick will demonstrate how to use a chicken tractor or chicken train to…

  1. Simplify, streamline, and enhance fruit and vegetable production while exponentially increasing soil fertility, with little effort and only a few minutes a day.
  2. Create permanent fertile terraces on sloping land in about five minutes a day, resulting in around 400 square metres of terraced land per chicken train per year.
  3. Connect chicken homes into food cells to provide an integrated fruit and/or vegetable production system in a protected environment designed to minimize effort and maximize soil fertility, crop health, and abundance.
  4. Pioneer and/or manage daunting areas of land, by focusing your and your chicken’s energy on around half a square metre of land at a time.
