ALLOTMENT EDUCATION PROGRAM

Whether you’re living in an apartment or simply don’t have access to land, our Allotment Education Program provides an invaluable opportunity to learn how to grow your own food.

When you join the program you’ll be offered a garden plot for three years, if there is one available. During that time you can grow and learn with our on-the-job training. Our education programs cover regenerative soil methods, managing pests and diseases and growing in the Canberra climate. Mentoring is available from our experienced gardeners. Beyond your plot there is a whole world of learning at the Farm including composting, pruning and making biochar.

Before applying to join the program we suggest you read our Allotment Education Program Handbook.

To join the Allotment Education Program please email us with subject ‘Allotment Education Program’ or use the email button below. Please note there is currently a waiting list.
