Food Preserving 101

Is your garden bursting with beans? Do you have tons of tomatoes or avalanches of apples? Join Fiona Tito Wheatland as she takes you through a variety of historically relevant preserving practices. Why they were needed and are they still relevant today? Fiona will talk about bottling, making jams and pickles, drying and fermenting and participants will go home with recipes to try out and video lists to learn more.
