Grape Pruning Workshop

Everyone is welcome to join this year’s shiraz grape pruning. This is a great opportunity to learn how to spur prune grapes from our professional vineron and follow it up with some practice.
Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
10:00 – 11:00 am: Demonstration of spur pruning of grapes and a short practice period for participants.
11:00 -3:00 pm: Pruning the vineyard.
Cost: Free for those who undertake at least 2 hours of pruning on the day.
$20:00 for those who only attend the demonstration and practice between 10:00 am and 11:00 am.
Bring: Secateurs if you have them. We have a limited number of secateurs if you do not have your own. Suitable clothes for the weather and covered shoes. Lunch.
