May Monthly Mingle

Our May Monthly Mingle will feature guest speakers from the University of Canberra’s Future of Food in the Canberra Region research group. They will discuss their work related to local food-system transformation and the necessary role of diverse community-based economies. Identifying and attending to gaps in existing data have a been a key focus of the group’s work, and our speakers will share insights about a current citizen-science project to demonstrate this. CCF members will also be invited to workshop future projects and co-research possibilities.
Along with our usual convivial atmosphere and free pizza, we will provide pizza bases, sauce, and cheese; please bring other pizza toppings for our volunteers to prepare various options to share.
