Volunteer with us

There are a range of ways you can volunteer with Canberra City Farm.

Each of these offer different opportunities for you to learn from, and support, our wonderful community.

Working Bees

We have a range of regular working bees at the Canberra City Farm.

Tasks vary from week to week, and can include planting fruit trees and vegetables, constructing garden beds, pruning, harvesting our various crops and constructing structures at The Farm.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with the Canberra City Farm on a regular basis and get to know other people in your community.

To find out when the next working bee is happening, see What’s On

Coordinator Roles

Canberra City Farm have a range of roles that need someone to coordinate.

Each of these roles offer different opportunities for development and learning for the person who takes on the role, such as people management, skills development in websites and promotional materials, greater understanding of administration processes involved with running an organisation, etc.

The intention is that each of these roles is committed to for 1 year and the following year the role is passed on to another person, with that person mentored and supported in their new role.
