Events at Canberra City Farm
There are so many ways to be involved in Canberra City Farm. We host a wide range of regular and one-off events throughout the year, from educational workshops and expert talks to hands-on Farm activities and seasonal celebrations. We have regular working bees, monthly mingles, and plant clinics.

Low Energy Super Shed Tour plus Monthly Mingle
Tour of the Low Energy Super Shed, 11 am to 12 noon
This is a demonstration building converted from a metal shed to meet the PassivHaus standard for a retrofitted building. We wanted to show that any existing structure can be transformed to a thermally comfortable, clean, sunny, and healthy building, where virtually no heating or cooling is required. Come along to gain insight into retrofitting and enjoy the sensory experience of inhabiting a passive house space.
The Low Energy Super Shed was a project by Woden SEE Change with support from the ACT Government, private businesses, community groups and private donors.

Monthly Mingle 12.30 — 1.30 pm
Please join us for our May Monthly Mingle. Weather permitting, we fire up the woodfired pizza oven and roll out the homemade pizza bases and the welcome mat. Mingles are a great way to visit the Farm, meet the community and celebrate Sustainable House Day.
Please RSVP for catering purposes and BYO pizza toppings to share.
