September Monthly Mingle

Join us on the third Sunday of the month for an informal get-together that aims to bring people closer to their local food system and community.  Monthly Mingles are an opportunity to share food, stories, and views on sustainability and our food system.  Most Mingles this year, like this one, will also feature guest speakers and/or panel discussions.

This month, directly after our AGM, we are excited to be hosting a very special guest, Walter Jehne, at our Mingle. Walter is an internationally renowned Australian soil scientist and will explain the projects around the world where his ideas are being implemented for healthy soils, agricultural productivity and climate change mitigation benefits.

We’ll be firing up the pizza oven and will provide pizza bases, sauce, and cheese; please bring other pizza toppings for our volunteers to prepare various options to share.

This is an outdoor event; if the weather is not on our side, fear not, for we have an indoor wet-weather option.
